This place looks like a regular diner, but one taste of the breakfast and you can tell they put their own spin on typical breakfast items. I love pancakes and I have to tell you, these were delicious. My food came out piping hot, which i love! I also had the Fiesta skillet (3 eggs, chorizo, onions, jalapeños, sourcream and salsa! Whew talking about flavorful! And they don't skimp on the portions. This was worth the 20 minute drive from the resort. I would give this a try for lunch or dinner.

Maria's is a good solid 4 star Yelp rating. The food is good. The service is good. The place is nice. You get a lot of food. Anyone that finishes there meal has to be totally over stuffed. Splitting any meal between two hungry adults is my suggestion.

Visiting the parents in Syracuse for a couple weeks. Went to Maria's for breakfast the other day and it was really good. Super fluffy huge omelettes! How do they get those omelettes so fluffy?! 5 egg omelettes- Huge portions! Delicious crispy hash browns. Two pancakes come with the omelettes. The pancakes were the only let down as they did not taste homemade but from a box mix. I'm picky about pancakes. Will definitely go back. Would likely get my omelette with the crispy hash browns and grits or fruit rather than the pancakes next time if they let you do that. Had left overs for a lunch later that day and even a little snack the next day! Our waitress was super attentive and provided us with excellent service. Wish I would have gotten her name as would like to give a shout out to her. (She was the gal with the stretched earlobes/earplugs. No judgement just wanted to give a description of our waitress as I recommend trying to sit in her section for excellent thorough service!)

I work in North Webster, but don't live here, so most of my experience with this restaurant has been placing to go orders, so I am only going to focus on that portion. Since I am at work and have a short time frame to go pickup my food, I look for businesses that are good at giving me a good time when the food will be ready. This place is usually off on their time. My latest experience was probably the worst. I was told when I called it would be 5-10 minutes, so I gave them a few extra minutes since I thought that seemed too soon and showed up about 15 minutes after my call. The food was not ready. I don't even think they had started it, because it was only a burger and it took an extra 10 minutes after I had paid for it before I got my food. At least it was hot and fresh, but it is just frustrating to be told a time, and have it not even be close to being ready at that time. That being said, the food is decent. Typical breakfast place with huge omelets.

Maria's is great for a delicious, inexpensive breakfast. There aren't a ton of breakfast places around Lake Wawasee, so we always head here when we're in town. I've tried a variety of dishes, from the omelettes and skillets to pancakes and biscuits and gravy, and everything has been fantastic. You get tons of food for the price! The service has always been great, although be prepared for a wait on the weekend. Overall a great place!

Good food and plenty of it. Price was reasonable for the portion size. Plenty of seating.

This was a great way to top off the weekend getting the lake cottages open. Stopped by for a late brunch on a Sunday. Party of 3 - all of us had been here before. This is a consistent joint with large portions. Glad we listened to the daily specials - fried walleye dinner $6.99 ( 3pcs - seriously?) So my arm candy wife and my outlaw chose the fried walleye dinner. Me being rather set in my ways, came there for biscuits and gravy, so I got biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and crispy hash browns. When the entrees arrive - my jaw is wagging - bouncing off the floor because they have 3 thick filets 12-14" in length, each w/ baked spud, salad AND 2 veg sides. Very high marks on the fried walleye. unbelievable... My 2 plates of gravy, 3 biscuits, crispy hash browns and scrambled eggs rated an Abso-awesome. My starch overload was a little lacking on seasoning though quickly rectified at the table. And did I say the OJ is fresh squeezed? They earned this 5 star review. Now the down side: our server was not so great. Didn't help we were seated in the large open room at banquet tables - our orders were delivered promptly once it was finally taken. I was ready to get back in car and cruise down to Bourbon St. Pizza. Mental note: I will always, from this day forward, request booth or table in the main room to the left or right of entry.

Their service was great. We walked with a party of 8 only 10 minutes before closing. Their overall service was a 5! There isn't an extensive list of entrees, but there are lots of sandwiches and pancakes. The food itself was a 4. The Mexican Salad had ribeye steak. The chicken scampi came with a cream sauce, which was unexpected, but it was still good.

This place is always busy, lots of cars in the lot....a good sign for a restaurant, but has lot of seating and normally get right in and order taken quickly. They have a very large menu with lots of variety. I have eaten here many times, always for lunch { can order breakfast all day} They have couple lunch specials which include cup of soup. Think it cost's around $6-7. I have had the fish special several times, seems it is reoccurring special. Although they call it walleye, I think it may be something else. It is good but does have a lot of breading. Small irritation is it comes with cole slaw, which is good, but very small portion. Probably best known for breakfast, served all day. They have a huge egg frittata which includes sausage, gravy, potatoes and comes with pancakes. Most people will end up asking for a box to take remainder home. The food is good...not fantastic, but great service, varied menu, and modest prices...which provide the 4 star rating. Can get a good lunch for bit more than fast food restaurant.

We love Maria's for breakfast on the weekends! I have NEVER experienced faster service of food! Every time we go we are shocked at how fast our meals come out! The food is good, we've only had the typical breakfast fare, but always tasty and delicious! The prices are standard, about $5 or $6 for a full eggs, meat, potatoes, bread type breakfast....but so worth it! Great for the whole family!

Maria's is pretty tasty. It's worth noting that their pancakes are fluffy and delicious, and I'm told by those I've eaten with that the french toast is great as well. I've never had any of their non-breakfast-themed items, so I can't comment on those! But the omelets and scrambles and eggs Benedict and pretty much everything they put chorizo in (Babalou omelet and the "Legal Alien," which I hate ordering for its name but it is awesome)--mmmmmmmmmmm. Mmm. My boyfriend did get the (I think it was) chicken pita, and it came out looking kind of like a pita pizza piled high with lettuce and chicken. Kind of impossible to eat, but it was still good! I snagged some of his fries, too, and they have that light batter on them that makes them super-crunchy (which is a plus in my book). All-in-all I think we've been there three times in the last two weeks, so that should tell you something!

Best breakfast in North Webster. Split an omelet with someone you love, or plan to take home the leftovers; they roll five deep here.

We had six family members enter for dinner. The waitress was rude. As for the food, five out of six dinners ordered was nothing to brag about. Hamburger was very dry and did not come out with everything that was ordered on it. Two of the chicken dinners were dry. The beef manhattan gravy I believe was spoiled, nasty taste. The smothered pork chops was the special which was suppose to come with two sides. Side salad and bake potato was ordered and when they brought it out it also had rice and green beans on the plate. I mentioned to the waitress that if I had known this I would not have ordered the salad and bake potato.will not be back to eat here in the near future.

The food is great, but the staff is rude, inattentive, and slow.

Found this gem of a restaurant on a leisurely Sunday drive around northern Indiana! And WOW, what a find!!! Fast, friendly and very attentive service started everything off on the right foot. I asked about the 5-egg omelets and the 7-egg frittatas (yes, those numbers are correct!) and went with the vegetable frittata with Swiss cheese. It covered the entire plate and was close to an inch thick with the fluffy egg consistency, the assorted veggies and hash browns loaded into it! It was delicious and I took half of it home. My wife ordered the chicken breast skillet with 3 eggs. It was better than LePeep's skillet eggs which is our standard we judge others against. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and the potatoes were both shredded and sliced - a very nice variety! The pancakes were fluffy and had a sweet tasting batter. Excellent service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices all added up to a 5-star experience!

I love this place. Wish we had one like it in Alabama. FIVE. EGG. OMELETS. You're going to get more food than you can eat. If you're local, you have a chance to take it home and enjoy it later; if, like me, you're getting ready to drive cross-country, you'll reluctantly leave it behind. The only thing I can imagine improving is the coffee, and even that is not bad.
